Rod of Air Elemental Command

[Requires attunement by a chaotic aligned Druid, Cleric (tempest), Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard & attunement to the Ancient Primordial Tome]

The Rod has five (5) charges for the following properties. It gains 1d4+1 expended charges daily at dawn or if an Air Elemental is killed/destroyed within 60 feet radius of the rod.

When you attempt to use this rod’s properties for the first time each day, while in the possession the Rod of Earth Elemental Command make a DC 13 Int Saving Throw. Success: You have access to all its current charges; Fail: The rod loses 1d3 worth of charges.

While holding the Rod:

  • You gain Resistance to lightning & thunder damage
  • Elemental Adept: when you roll damage for a spell you cast from the rod that deals lightning & thunder damage, you can treat any 1 on a damage die as a 2.
  • Air Movement: As an Bonus Action, expend 1 of its charges, Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minute;You have a flying speed equal to your walking speed and you can hover; If you can naturally fly already, add ½ your walking speed to flying speed; If you get disarmed or fall incapacitated the effect ends immediately ;This effect counts as a Concentration spell in effect while active.
  • As an Action, expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spell from it, using your spell save DC:
  • Storm Sphere (4 charges)
  • Gust of Wind (2 charges)
  • Wind Wall (3 charge)
